During the last couple of years the attacks have become more frequent, stronger and sophisticated, requiring end users to learn more about future trends and how to protect their business.

At DDoS day the latest news regarding DDoS attacks and how to protect business will be highlighted. Even though DDoS attacks has been used for many years many organizations still have problems preventing it. The conference gathers the leading IT-security experts in Europe in the DDoS area. During a one day conference you get a chance to learn more about how to improve your DDoS protection.

The DDoS Day is the leading Nordic forum which highlights the latest IT-security topics on DDoS (Distributed Denial of Services). Some of the questions that will be discussed during the conference:

- How can DDoS attacks damage your business operations? Financial risks? Loss of sensitive data? Goodwill?
- What can you do to protect your business?

Richard Wray - Netscout

A solid understanding of the DDoS landscape and its latest trends allows you to prioritize what to look for in your DDoS protection solution. An overview of these trends and differences they create will be discussed. The presentation will then move to a role play with a live demonstration of evaluation techniques available. What are the differences "under the hood"? What is the right approach for our size organization? What value do I get outside of pure hybrid DDoS protection? and Do I have to resource this all myself? are all questions we will cover in this session.

Never Bring a Knife to a Gunfight – New Threats Need New Approaches

Marc Wilczek - Link11

We’re amid a digital revolution with Generation C (=connected) arriving on stage. This crowd has grown up in a primarily digital world, considering the permanent availability of IT and real-time interaction the most natural thing under the sun.

The clear answer to this trend needs to be full automation and intelligent technologies, not more people or hardware. And while everybody talks about AI, nobody actually does it. Let us show you what AI-based DDoS protection should be able to do and why only a cloud-based approach is future proof.

Lunch Break

Jan Olsson, Kriminalkommissarie, Verksamhetsutvecklare

(Presentation)
